CLASS DESCRIPTION: Foundations I is part one of a year-long course introducing first year Art & Design Students to art theory, art history, technology, creative problem solving, ideation strategies, and general best professional practices related to being a visual artist and designer. Through study, project experience and critical analysis, the students are expected to develop skills and gain knowledge regarding the principles of design.
